Relationship Therapy for Young Adults and Their Families.

Gain trust in yourself and each other to take on whatever life brings. Navigate your relationship challenges with confidence!

Individual Therapy

You deserve a space uniquely designed for you! To be your whole self. To find you.

It’s painful to not know how to cope. We’ll build insight, develop tools to manage feelings and to navigate your relationships.

  • You deserve support to show up as your preferred self. Therapy in this context is focused on the dilemmas of parenting, exploring how to use your strengths, giving yourself compassion and recognizing how much you’re already doing. I provide education where needed and we brainstorm concrete solutions to your everyday challenges.

  • If you’re having a tough time finding yourself or navigating who you are in this very overwhelming world, you should have a space to sort through it all. There are particular things that make this hard right now, you know what they are and what impacts you most. I will listen and help you find your voice so that you can build a life rooted in your values with the people that are most important to you.

  • I see youth starting at age 16 and adults of all ages who are figuring out relationships and who they are. Parents could have kids of any age range.

Family Therapy

Feel seen in your relationships, together.

We’ll meet as a group and I’ll work with you to understand what’s stuck, building a vision of what you want to move towards. You’ll learn about each other and new ways of communicating, so that your messages sent are also the ones received.

There are so many ways to see and experience this life and we happen to end up in certain patterns and assumptions. Usually things get hard because everyone cares SO MUCH.

  • I’m a certified family and systems therapist. I have a particular speciality in attachment trauma, supporting families managing significant barriers to functioning (for one or many members of the family), navigating developmental shifts and life transitions, the trauma of oppression and the ways experience gets passed from generation to generation. It’s common for folks to be managing anxiety, depression, mood challenges, grief and shame.

“We are here to become more and more ourselves.”

FAQs

  • It’s hard to establish traction and flow in therapy when you meet less than weekly. There may be the ability to be flexible with session frequency towards the end of our work together - this would be jointly discussed.

  • I am licensed to provide therapy to people in Massachusetts. All sessions are virtual and happen securely through a client portal, Simple Practice. I also meet with people outside who are local to Franklin, MA.

  • This depends on your goal. We’ll talk together about what you’re looking for and you will likely hear me ask ‘If therapy is wildly successful, how will you know’ I will also share my thoughts and recommendations. Ultimately it is your decision to end or remain in treatment.

  • Absolutely, as long as I have a release and you are okay with paying for this time which is prorated in 15 minute increments to my hourly rate.

  • I sure do.

  • Yup! Good thing about systems therapy is it applies across the board. Everyone is welcome.

  • Absolutely not. Everyone shares at their own pace and it takes time to build trust. Even though as therapists we are trained to know and hear all the things — we are also strangers at first.

  • The short answer is yes, many of them. If you’re curious, definitely ask when we connect. I’m very open about the principles and values on which the practice is built.

You made it here. Take the next step to get the support you need and deserve.
